Paediatric First Aid 12 hours by blended learning
This 12-hour course comprises a classroom day where you are assessed in person throughout the course and a 6-hour eLearning module (completed before your classroom day) accessible from your computer, tablet, or laptop via a unique login code we supply you with. Our classes are held in an easy to get to location, 5 minutes’ walk from Mile End Tube station, 7 minutes walk from Bow Road DLR and several other lines as well as many bus routes.
Common Core Skills training comprises one-day learning in our virtual classroom.
Ahead of your training day, we will send you a unique login code which allows you to access your training session from the comfort of your home and take part in the class via your computer, tablet, laptop or mobile smartphone. When you are logged in (and we’ll show you how) you will be able to see and speak with your tutor, ask questions and fully take part in a live interactive session with the added bonus of choosing a comfortable spot to receive your training!
Certificates
Once you have successfully completed each course and assessment, you will be issued a separate eCertificate for each course. Please note that Ofsted accepts eCertificates. Paediatric First Aid: Learners should have sufficient command of confident, functional conversational English (if you have English as a second language, you will need to be able to effectively communicate with the casualty, bystanders and the emergency services. It is crucial that you can relay vital information accurately and follow instructions from emergency services during a critical situation.
If you are undertaking 12-hour Paediatric First Aid course, please be mindful that the eLearning module is written in English, so it is recommended that learners have sufficient command of written as well as spoken English.
Attendees will be required to demonstrate First Aid procedures as they would in a real work environment, including kneeling, rolling, lying on the carpet, and having physical contact with other course members. The Assessor continuously assesses each learner’s skills and knowledge through practical observation and questioning throughout the course.

Common Core Skills: Learners should have a sufficient command of confident, functional conversational English and will be expected to participate in discussions and activities throughout the day on topics covered during the course.
