Understanding Maths in Early Years

Mathematics involves providing children with opportunities to develop and improve their skills in counting, understanding and using numbers, calculating simple addition and subtraction problems and how to describe shapes, spaces, and measures.

During this one hour session, led by one of Riverside Training Company’s experts, we will explore ways that you as educators can encourage children to learn about maths through planned and day to day activities.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn in a session tailored to your group’s requirements. This session is taught in our virtual classroom. All participants are given login information ahead of the session.
