Teaches Learners how to treat basic injuries and learning life-saving skills including CPR and how to use a defibrillator (AED).
Course Content:
- Dealing with emergencies including communication with casualties and calling for help
- Carrying out a primary survey
- Using the recovery position
- Resuscitation (CPR) Adult
- Resuscitation (CPR) Baby and Child
- Use of Automated External Defibrillator
- Controlling bleeding and treating for shock
Price £300 per group of up to 15 students
This session can be taught to two groups simultaneously or one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Riverside Training Company’s first aid courses are designed to meet the needs of pupils learning life-saving skills. Sessions are mapped to National Curriculum requirements as set out by the Department of Education.
