Safeguarding for Childminders Online Training

Our online Safeguarding Training for Childminders gives you the essential knowledge and confidence, as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, to understand your safeguarding responsibilities and help keep children safe from harm. Designed specifically for childminders, it is ideal both for those preparing for registration and for registered childminders who need to refresh and update their safeguarding knowledge.

Once you enrol, you’ll receive access to the online course. Simply log in and work through the training at your own pace, following each section in order. The course covers the essential safeguarding information childminders need to know, with questions along the way to check your understanding.

You can complete the training at a time that suits you and return to the course if you need to take a break. On successful completion of all sections and the final assessment, you’ll receive a certificate which can be presented to Ofsted as evidence of your safeguarding training and ongoing professional development.
