Mathematics involves providing children with opportunities to develop and improve their skills in counting, understanding and using numbers, calculating simple addition and subtraction problems and how to describe shapes, spaces, and measures.
During the session we will explore ways educators can encourage children to learn about maths through planned and day to day activities.
