Paediatric First Aid Award 12 hour Level 3 blended learning: 1 Day training in your setting (for up to 12 learners) combined with an E-Learning module

This accredited full Paediatric First Aid course, suitable for both the Ofsted Compulsory and Voluntary registers, is taught by blended learning. Learners are each given their own unique login code to access 6 hour interactive paediatric first aid training. Log in is available 24/7 when its most convenient for learners to do the course which minimises disruption in the day to day running of your setting. The E-Learning segment can be easily accessed from computers, laptops and tablets. Students can choose to complete this module in one go or by logging in and out as they complete each segment.

When Learners have completed this module they will attend a one-day practical session either pre-arranged to be held in your setting on a convenient day, which can include at the weekends.  If you elect to receive the practical session in your setting we will agree a convenient date with you in advance. Each Learner must complete their eLearning prior to the classroom day.

Our fee is based on up to 12 Learners (plus eCertificates @ £7.50 per person or Hardcopy certificates at £10 per certificate sent to the designated person.)

Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF)

• 1-day training in your setting (or two half days, please note an addition cost may apply) preceded by completing a self-guided eLearning module accessible via the internet with special log-in and full support supplied by Riverside Cares

Attendees will be required to demonstrate first aid procedures as they would in a real work environment, for example providing CPR to a casualty on the floor

If a student in your group cannot attend on the training day we can also offer the ‘single student option’

Department of Education legislation requires all newly qualified level two and three child carers to have either an emergency paediatric first aid or full paediatric first aid certificate. Riverside Training Company offers both courses.

Early Years settings are legally required to have on-site at all times at least one person with a valid full 12-hour paediatric first aid certificate the person needs to be available on-site and when the setting accompanies children on trips.
