First Aid Skills for Children and Young People

First Aid Skills for Children and Young People

School children in state education will be required to learn basic first aid skills as part of their curriculum from September 2020. Primary school children will learn about how to ask for help from the emergency services and how to respond to a head injury. Secondary school children will learn more advanced first aid skills including CPR and about defibrillators. We will be delivering specially designed sessions for young people from January 2020.
